10 More Things to Be Grateful For (Even on Hard Days)
Gratitude isn’t a one-time practice — it’s a muscle we build over time. So here’s another list to help you reconnect with peace, presence, and what’s still good in your life.
Gratitude rewires our brains to focus on the good, bringing in more peace and prosperity to our lives. I’ve created this universal gratitude list to remind you of the many things we can be grateful for, regardless of external circumstances.
Let’s make this a mindfulness practice. Before you get started, take a moment to ground yourself. Feet on the floor, strong core, and a few deep breaths. For each item, I invite you to reflect on two things:
1. What is my personal relationship to this, and how can I be grateful for it?
2. How does my body feel when I express that gratitude?
It’s important to feel gratitude, not just intellectualize it. Bathing our spirit in its energy signals to the universe that we are ready to receive more good.
When you’re ready, take another deep breath — and let’s begin.
10 Simple Things You Can Be Grateful For Right Now
I could tell you why each one matters to me, but that would miss the point. Gratitude is personal. Let this list be a mirror — notice what each one means to you.
Rest
Food
Water
Silence
Creativity
Connection
My memory
My intelligence
My ability to feel
My unique expression
When you’ve finished the list, reflect on how your body feels. Every sensation is welcome — we’re building this mind-body connection slowly and sustainably.
You’ve given yourself the gift of gratitude today—great job! Enjoy the rest of your day, and return to this practice whenever you need a gentle reminder.
