Stop Complaining, Start Proclaiming: The Power of Gratitude

How often do you complain each day? Five, fifteen, fifty-five times?

I bet the real number would freak you out. And before you jump on the shame train, I want to let you know that it’s not your fault. Complaining is totally unconscious for most of us. We are literally programmed for negativity, lack, and scarcity.

Western culture does a great job of keeping us small and full of self-loathing. They don’t want us to thrive—it would fuck up their whole system! And don’t ask me who ‘they’ are. I haven’t figured out who’s pulling the strings behind the scenes yet. Illuminati? Evil lizard people? The aliens on the dark side of the moon?

Whoever’s running the show, the damage is clear. Humanity is suffering from negativity and hatred. It’s a slow and deadly poison, seeping into the very fabric of our being and undoing us from the inside out.

Do you want to know why so many people never find true happiness?

It’s because the universe is a mirror—it’s a reflection of your internal world, projected outward into physical reality.

It’s a hard truth, but don’t let it scare you. This is meant to LIBERATE you. Do you know what this means?! That you have the power to create your reality—and it all starts inside your mind.

So what is gratitude, and what’s it good for?

Gratitude is the act of being thankful for the things in your life, regardless of external circumstances. It shifts focus from what you lack to what you have, creating a sense of abundance and fulfillment.

The Law of Vibration states that everything in the universe is made up of energy, and it’s constantly moving, vibrating at its own unique frequency.

These frequencies determine what you attract into your life. Positive emotions like joy, love, and gratitude have high vibrations, while negative emotions like fear and anger have lower vibrations.

Gratitude is one of the highest vibrational states you can experience. When you practice gratitude, you raise your vibrational frequency, aligning you with more feeling states on the same level.

In simple terms, being grateful brings more good into your life, and being stuck in fear and lack brings you more fear and lack.

Our emotions are the key. They are the vibrational gateway to true fulfillment. Complaining about your boss, your drive to work, your mother-in-law, or your husband’s snoring won’t fix any of it. Try focusing on the positives in each situation and see what happens. I’m not claiming that being grateful will stop your boss from being a dick, but it will shift your perspective.

Shifting your perspective doesn’t make problems disappear, but it changes how you see them. Instead of burdens, there are lessons. Where there once was a dead end, there is now an opportunity. Gratitude helps you reclaim your power in situations you can’t control.

Practicing gratitude affects every external area of your life, but more importantly, it affects your inner world. Gratitude rewires your brain, elevates your frequency, and aligns you with the natural flow of the universe.

The evil lizard people don’t want you to win—but I do.

It’s time to stop complaining and start proclaiming:

“I am grateful! I am abundant!”

By shifting away from scarcity and focusing on the good, you can take control of your life. You don’t have to live in the mind prison you were programmed with. It doesn’t take hours every day—just small moments of awareness and the willingness to transform your thoughts into gratitude.

With love and gratitude,

Your girl Lei-Lei <3
